Organized by the Electrical Material Club and the South-East Mediterranean Regional Group of the French Society of Electricity and Electronics associated to the Electrical Systems Club of the SEE
 The French SEE (“Société de l’Electricité, de l’Electronique, des Techniques de Communication et de l’Information”) will organize on 10th and 11th December 2008 in Montpellier the IREED International Conference, with the topics of Renewable Energy and Eco-design in Electrical Engineering, to celebrate sumptuously its 125th anniversary.
The French partners are major universities, international companies and institutions working in the field of electrical engineering. The cluster CRÉER (Cluster Research Excellence in Eco-design and Recycling) and the Pole DERBI (Renewable Energy) have agreed to contribute to IREED.
These two days will take place concomitantly with the “Energaïa” Exhibition, which is a significant event for professionals in the Renewable Energies domain (12000 entries in 2007), in order to reach a perfect symbiosis between professional and domestic applications, research and development.
The conference will focus on the latest research and development issues in the field of new materials, systems and components concerning wind power, hydroelectric power, sea power, thermal and solar energies, eco-design and recycling.
