The CAPEB will be celebrating its 25th anniversary during Energaïa 2009 and in parallel will be launching the ECO ARTISANS concept

CAPEB Languedoc-Roussillon (Confédération de l’Artisanat et des Petites Entreprises du Bâtiment) will be celebrating its 25th anniversary during ENERGAIA 2009.

As a leading actor in the defense and promotion of construction related professions, CAPEB will be presenting the initiatives and projects it has deployed to support professionals and sustain a dynamic approach within the construction industry through presentations on its stand and a series of conferences.

One of the major themes of the presentations on the CAPEB Languedoc-Roussillon stand will be the new ECO ARTISAN label which will establish an identity for construction professionals who are skilled in contributing towards energy performance improvement.

A network of ECO ARTISAN professionals is currently being established in the Languedoc-Roussillon and the first ECO ARTISAN label holders will be celebrated during ENERGAIA. Presentations will be made on how the label is acquired and the different training modules in place which support the ECO ARTISAN approach.

Construction industry professionals are one of the key components in France’s and the region’s business fabric (with over 20,000 companies) and are essential actors in the present and the future with regards to the ongoing development of eco-construction.
